The best decision you can make is to spend a summer at Brighton!
Program Coordinator: Working at Brighton Girls Camp changed my life, because Jesus Christ changes lives. Having a job where I lived in the mountains and had fun while also impacting the lives of young girls, testifying of Jesus Christ, teaching the gospel, and living with people who inspire, support, and love each other and God was the most special thing. There are opportunities for learning, growth, and miracles in every minute of a summer at Brighton. Hiking and being active and busy every day is a huge bonus. Brighton is all about having fun while learning and teaching about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I wouldn’t trade my summers at Brighton for anything!
Kitchen Staff: I would describe my job as hard, and full of effort and hard work but also new learning experiences eventful and fun but hard at the same time! I would describe Brighton as a second home somewhere you can count on people where everyone there is there to support one another and help bring others close to Christ. I loved working there because of the people and memories I made!
Counselor: My job is to help draw girls closer unto Christ, make new friends and try new things! I love the environment! I have loved among some of the best friends of my life!! And learning more about my relationship with Jesus Christ!!
Kitchen Staff: My job was with our a doubt what I needed this summer. It was hard and sometimes I thought I was losing my mind, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. God helped me grow in exactly the way I needed with exactly the people I needed.

I made eternal friends and more deeply felt how much God loves His children! I have thought that Brighton brought out the best in me! Yes! It is hard work, but so are all good things!
Craft Specialist: How I would describe my job: As a craft counselor, I got to help girls come closer to the Savior through creativity. By helping them learn new crafts and creating an environment where originality is encouraged, I was able to help them connect to their Savior. Seeing the enthusiasm that girls had for all the crafts and the friendships that were formed in the craft shack always brightened my day.
What I like about working at Brighton: The friendships that are formed at camp with the other staff is the best thing about working at Brighton. Through the hard days of camp, my friendships always carried me through. There is so much joy and laughter at camp because of the friendships that are formed there
Assistant Program Coordinator: I cannot imagine a better use of my summer than working at Brighton Girls Camp! It is so fun to live in the beautiful mountains of Big Cottonwood Canyon! The best part of camp is feeling Heavenly Father’s love for His children and helping campers build confidence, have fun experiences, and draw closer to God and nature. The friendships, memories, and testimony I have gained from camp are irreplaceable. I love Brighton Girls Camp!
Counselor: How would you describe your job? Being a counselor is hard but it is also the most joyful and rewarding thing I have ever done in my life. Not only do you get the opportunity to help girls come to know Christ but you also learn all about His love for yourself. Every day you are pushed to become more like Him, through various challenges you get to overcome and learn from. It is a job so full of laughter, love, learning, and joy. There is no place I would have rather spent my summer than in the mountains, face to face with the love of Jesus Christ every single day.
What do you like about working at Brighton?
I love working at Brighton because Brighton became a family, it became home. The spirit is for sure at the front of all that is being accomplished there and it is so evident in the peace and joy felt at camp and around the girls you are working with. There, I was part of something so much greater than myself, being able to be an instrument in the hands of God in helping these young girls learn about Christ for themselves was a moving and changing experience. It is also in the most beautiful place on earth, and being in the mountains connects you with God in a way I have never felt in my life. Brighton is the Disneyland of the Rockies because it truly is the happiest place on earth. Brighton is home!!
Counselor: My job as a camp counselor consisted of taking a group of girls around to activities, hikes, and spiritual discussions throughout the week. We were able to grow closer to each other and God! By the end of the week, we were basically a little family! I love camp because it combines extreme fun with the spirit. We have moments of excitement and laughter and then moments of reverent pondering. Camp is a place where everyone belongs!
